Clinical Supervision in Sheffield

Who I Work With

I offer clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees working across a range of settings. I welcome practitioners from different theoretical orientations and levels of experience, and aim to provide a supervisory relationship that supports both professional development and ethical, effective client work.

I also offer supervision to people in other helping professions including medicine, social work, education, emergency services and similar.

My Approach to Supervision

My approach is integrative, relational and collaborative. I view supervision as a space for reflection, learning and professional growth, where challenge and support are carefully balanced. Together, we can explore clinical process, relational dynamics, ethical considerations and risk. We can think together about what is happening within the therapeutic relationship, within yourself, and within the wider context of the work.. My aim is to help you think more deeply about your practice, strengthen your clinical confidence and support your wellbeing, so that you are able to work effectively with your clients.

We will take a collaborative approach as colleagues where you feel free to explore your work with honesty, curiosity and confidence. My aim is not to provide answers, but to create the conditions in which new perspectives, greater clarity and increased confidence can emerge.

I hold Certificate in Supervision Studies from Canterbury Christ Church University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist across a wide range of settings, including private practice, higher education, schools, employee assistance programmes, the NHS and the voluntary sector. Alongside my clinical work, I have managed and supervised therapists working with complex and varied client presentations.

I welcome counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees from a range of theoretical orientations and backgrounds. Whether you are seeking a regular supervisory relationship, support with a particular aspect of your practice, or a space to think more deeply about your professional development, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Please get in touch if you would like to arrange an initial conversation about how we might work together. My fee for supervision work is £80 per 50 minute session.
